Cattleya
Cattleyas are among the most popular types of orchids. Cattleyas and their related hybrids come in many different variations, which starkly differ in physical appearance. Culture and care needed remains similar for all Cattleyas. Cattleyas require a lot of light, you may want to set up artificial lighting. Temperatures should be between 55 and 60 degrees F at night and 70 to 90 during the day. Seedlings should have the night temperature 5-10 degrees higher. A 15-20 degree differential between day and night is best, especially for older plants. Humidity should be between 50 and 80 for Cattleyas.
