This is a picture of my son, many years ago. We were floating down the
Chena River and stopped a a small rock pit. He found some old fishing
line on the shore, tied a safety pin on one end and the stick on the
other. Using a piece of hot dog as bait, he caught a six inch Grayling!
OK, bull fighting is a bloody sport. This was down in PV, Mexico. By
the way, the bull lost.
In Aldan, Yakutia, Russian Far East, lives a wonderful little old lady
named Nina. This is her garded behind her datcha. I painted this in
September of 2002, most everything had been harvested except a few
beets and carrots.
