Athabascan Arctic Winter - Breakup - Summer Kuspuks

 

Arctic Winter Kuspuks are parkas with a 12-15 inch pleated skirt flounce. These are usually made for women and girls only. The materials we can use are corduroy; velveteen; poplin; cotton-backed German velvet; and cut velvet. HINT: We strongly recommend cotton-backed German velvet for it's beauty, shimmer, durability, non-stretchability, and ease of care. Dry Cleaning is strongly recommended. The inner shell consists of 12-18 ounce Jencelite. The kuspuks also feature Eskimo pockets and fur ruffs. The types of fur we recommend are beaver-wolf; beaver-wolverine; silver-tipped black or white fox; and otter. The ruffs are hand cut and sewn then attached to either a fold-back hood or an Eskimo hood style. The full length of the arctic winter kuspuks extends to the mid-calf. All kuspuks feature the two-way zipper for ease of movement and removal.

Each kuspuk is custom-fitted and sized. Every kuspuk is unique.
