East Classic Relay was very successful!!!
Great skiing, fairly warm, sunny weather, and overall a great day of racing.
Special thanks to:
- John Christopherson and the entire Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage, without them we could not have had a high school race.
- East High XC Ski Booster parents: Alice Knapp, Ken and Peggy Kugel, John Quinley, Lynn Fink, and others for amazing support.
- Connie Quinley and Karen Bronga for creating the artsy, yet functional Valentine’s awards.
- Parent volunteers from other schools: We had help from West, Chugiak, South and Service.
- Bob Hodson, from Barney’s Sports Chalet, drawing prizes of Atomic skis, Swix poles and other outdoor gear.
- Michael Graham and Janis Fleischman for incredible administrative support.
